One potential area that is always a middle-ground for LG, and not in a good way, is battery life. Most of their phones typically have a battery that's slightly smaller than the competition.
A prime example is the LG G5 with a 2,700 mAh battery while all other phones that size offered 3,000 mAh. Or even 3,600 mAh with the Galaxy S7 Edge. This made the LG G5 run out faster than the others, and a lot of owners complained about it. We don't have all the information yet about the LG V30 but add in all these changes and there's only so much room and money for a big battery. The G6 comes with a 3,300 mAh battery, so we're hoping for something a little bigger on the V30. Our guess is a 3,500 mAh battery. And while that's almost enough, you'll want more to power this phone and its big 6-inch screen. It won't be bad, but it won't be the best either. Keep that in mind.
